Public education in Wisconsin is a state obligation that is governed by locally elected school officials working toward unique visions and goals within a framework of statewide  collaboration. The WASB Spring Academy will provide you information about the roles and responsibilities of school boards, including  accountability for student achievement, legal duties and powers, policymaking, collective bargaining, taxation authority, budget planning and advocacy. The event is an opportunity for you to meet school board members from throughout the state to discuss how these duties are carried out in other districts.

Directions:
From Highway 51, go west on Vinburn Road for 1/2 mile then turn right and follow Yorktown Road for 1/2 mile.
