Gänder Consulting Group - Gänder Consulting Group is the retained risk management consulting firm for the WASB Insurance Plan. What coverages are offered through the WASB Insurance Plan? Coverages offered through the WASB Insurance Plan include: workers' compensation, general liability, automobile (liability and physical damage), umbrella liability and educators legal liability. Ancillary coverages that are also available include crime, boiler and machinery, and property. What is the WASB Insurance Plan Grant Program? The WASB Insurance Plan Grant Program has been established to promote the implementation and utilization of loss control and prevention procedures and to return available funds to participants. Any district that has its workers' compensation coverage with Wausau is eligible to participate. Grant program requirements have included the passage of a return-to-work resolution, a workers' compensation prompt reporting requirement, a requirment that a percentage of a school district's staff to complete a segment on Wausau's Loss Prevention CD, and in 2006, the program simply provided payments to Insurance Plan members based on the number of years in the Plan. Information regarding the current year grant program is now available and districts with workers' compensation policies issued between June 15, 2008 and June 14, 2009 will be eligible. Wausau accepts claim reports via the telephone at 800-266-2800, fax at 800-892-8728, and U.S. mail. Detailed information outlining how to report claims and what information to report is provided in claim kits mailed out to each customer. Serious losses should be reported immediately by telephone. Once a claim has been reported, you may contact your dedicated claim representative, if you have one.
