Judging is Underway in Madison for WASB’s Write and Illustrate Contest

Reading teachers from across the state are excited to be in Madison to judge books from this year’s WASB Write and Illustrate Contest.   Here’s what some of the judges had to say about this year’s entries.

“I love reading and I love working with kids. It’s nice to see how their talent develops as they progress. It’s nice to see the creativity of the students come through in these books.” - Cindy Robertson, Burlington Area School District

Exactly 500 books were received from school districts representing every region of the state. This year’s winners will be recognized at the Regional Meetings scheduled in September and October.
