It’s the Place to Be!

The place to be for activity and excitement! The place to meet with business partners, meet friends for lunch or meet with staff of the sponsoring organizations. This year’s Exhibit Hall has been in the planning stages since last year’s hall closed its doors. Take time to visit and see what’s new.

With more than 300 exhibitors, the Exhibit Hall offers school officials unparalleled opportunities to connect with suppliers of goods and services. Companies that exhibit at the convention demonstrate a strong interest in public education in Wisconsin. The efforts of these companies to reach out to local school officials, meet them in person and support the sponsoring organizations set them apart from other firms seeking your business. Just as it is important for school officials to shop locally for goods and services in their own communities, it is also important for school officials to consider the qualifications of and products offered by businesses that support their associations.

The Cafeteria will offer a wide variety of sandwiches, salads and snacks. Whether it’s breakfast in the morning, or a snack or lunch between sessions, make The Cafeteria your destination for food.

Next to The Cafeteria is The Auditorium, where we will highlight students. Stop by for performances by students from schools throughout Wisconsin. Check the Website and the onsite convention guide for final schedules.

The Commons — the Exhibit Hall’s gathering place — will offer a comfortable place to stop and visit WASB staff or take in a student performance. Program information will be available, and resident experts will be on hand to answer your questions.

Visit The Bookstore for the latest books and educational materials for you or your district. Books by many of our presenters will be featured. E-mail stations will be incorporated into The Bookstore for your convenience.

Podcasting. Join the Apple team for hands-on demonstrations of this exciting new way to get your message out. Podcasting can be used for classrooms, staff development and community outreach. Keep up with the latest communication technology.

Photo Booth! Bring your colleagues and visit us in the Exhibit Hall to have your picture taken in our special convention Photo Booth, Wednesday, Jan. 23, and Thursday, Jan. 24. Pictures will be available on site. School Colors Day on Thursday is a perfect time to record your school spirit for posterity!

Plenty of people are waiting to greet you at the Exhibit Hall. Come on up!
