Performance Under Pressure—
Passion in Our Leadership, Balance in Our Lives
Murray Banks
Teacher, Motivational Speaker and
Four-time National Triathlon Champion
It's a tough time to be school board members and administrators with NCLB on one side, a challenged and frustrated faculty on another side, and high stakes testing and accountability on all sides! We must be charismatic leaders so we can inspire our teachers and engage our communities to enhance student performance.
At the Thursday Breakfast, Murray Banks will highlight the leadership skills that foster a climate of success ...enthusiasm, focus, positive problem solving and optimism. The challenge: these are the very attributes that disappear under pressure and stress! Balance is critical to leadership performance, and Murray knows something about performance...he is an honored educator and a world champion athlete who understands what it takes to make it to the finish line.

Wisconsin Supreme Court
Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson
