Associate Executive Director Steve Hintzman has been assisting Wisconsin school boards on behalf of WASB since 1975. He edits WASB's Updated Wisconsin School Laws and the WERC Digest . He is a graduate of the UW Law School. He also is a graduate of UW-Madison with a degree in history and education. |

Bob Butler has been a WASB staff counsel since 1990. He is co-director of employee relations services. He graduated from the UW Law School and received his undergraduate degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University. |

Staff Counsel Barry Forbes has been a WASB staff counsel since 1983. He is co-director of employee relations services. He graduated from the UW Law School and received his undergraduate degree in economics from the UW-Milwaukee.

Scott Mikesh graduated from the University of Wisconsin law school. Scott earned an undergraduate degree from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, majoring in business finance.

Ben Richter graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2007. Prior to that, Ben earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he majored in both Communication Arts and Legal Studies. Ben joined the WASB in June 2007. |
Craig Hubbell
Staff CounselCraig Hubbell became a WASB staff counsel after graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2008. Previously, he earned his undergraduate degree in Spanish from St. Olaf College, taught Spanish for 10 years in the Mequon-Thiensville School District, and obtained a master’s degree in foreign language and literature from UW-Milwaukee.
