As a eight-year member of the Owen-Withee School Board, Rick is tuned into all levels of public education. He is an active member of the school board, serving on three committees and holding the position of vice president. In addition to regularly attending WASB training seminars and conferences, Rick has six years of experience on the CESA #10 Board of Control and in 2007 he was appointed to the DPI's Boundary Disputes Board. He has been involved in many community activities, including 4-H, coaching, and after-school programs.
