Wanda has served on the Barneveld school board from 1984 to 2001 and 2003 thru present. In that time, she has held all offices, currently serving as treasurer. She has also served on various committees, including negotiations, personnel, finance, technology, and curriculum. She was a member of the CESA 3 Board of Control from 1986 to 2001 and again 2004 thru present, currently serving as president. Wanda has served as delegate to the State Education Convention for both Barneveld and CESA 3.
Wanda was an active member of the Boundary Appeals Board from 1999 to 2001. She has worked on the WASB Policy and Resolutions Committee and presented resolutions at the State Education Convention. Wanda has been a trustee on the WASB Insurance Plan since 2004, currently serving as vice president.
Wanda is very active in her school, church and community; having worked with PTO, music and athletic boosters, space-needs study committees, and served breakfast to staff each year. At Barneveld Congregational UCC Church, she has served as Sunday school teacher, church clerk, and deacon. Community involvement includes having served as president of the Women's Club and serving as president of the Barneveld Public Library Board.
Wanda has been the WASB Region 9 director since 2008.
