With over 50 years in the education field, Florence has experience as an educator, education policy advocate and school board member. For the past 11 years, she has been a member of the Onalaska School Board and is currently serving as treasurer. Florence has also been on the WASB board for six years.She has served as member of the WASB Policy and Resolutions Committee, a member of the Nominations Committee, she has represented her school board at the WASB Delegate Assembly, and she has attended several national school board association conventions. Florence has a master’s degree in education and has achieved a lifetime certification in elementary education, audio-visual education and library science.
