Nancy Thompson has been a member of the Waterloo School Board since l986. First elected as Region 12 Director in l993 (serving until 2003), she was re-elected to that role in 2008. She also served as the 1996 WASB President. She has been a member of the CESA # 2 Board of Control since l997 (and its chairperson since 2003), a Trustee of the WASB Insurance Plan since 2006, and a member of the Jefferson County Head Start Policy Council since 2001 and of Wisconsin’s Blind and Visually Impaired Advisory Council since 2000. In addition, she currently serves on the State PTA Board and the State of Wisconsin Group Insurance Board. A 4-H leader for the past twenty-eight years and a former high school English and speech teacher, Nancy is currently Clerk for the Town of Portland. She and her husband Lloyd have three children and two grandsons. |
