WASB Policy Resource Guide Written specifically for Wisconsin school boards, the WASB Policy Resource Guide is a web-based policy tool designed to assist school boards and administrators in developing policies that best meet local needs and interests. Available on a subscription basis, the Policy Resource Guide includes sample policies, in-depth background information, legal considerations, links to additional resources, and more.
Policy Questions Contact staff by phone or email and they will discuss policy-related considerations with you and offer policy development suggestions on a complimentary basis.
Policy Publications Each month, the complimentary Policy Perspectives newsletter offers in-depth policy information to members. An even more comprehensive publication, The FOCUS, is available on a subscription basis.
Policy Library Resources Information on a wide variety of topics is available as a complimentary service to all member districts upon request. Contact staff by phone or email to make a request.
Hot Policy Topics When there is a pressing, emerging issue for all member districts, the WASB posts complimentary policy development information and materials. (Member log in required.)
Policy Development Materials The WASB provides a series of helpful materials and checklists to provide guidance for policy development and to answer commonly asked general policy development-related questions.
Special and Customized Services The experienced WASB Policy Services team offers a range of policy consulting services tailored to meet a district's specific policy needs, interests and requirements. These include the new WASB Policy Manual Quick Checks, policy manual recoding, and board meeting minute reviews as well as customized services for short or long-term projects.
