2017 Summer Leadership Institute


July 14-15 – Green Bay
Conference Summary

The event included a networking dinner and keynote address on the evening of July 14th from former Green Bay Packer George Koonce. The second day, July 15th, featured three full tracks of programming. The first track focused on the fundamentals of board governance for members in their first term of office. The second track featured sessions on advanced board governance for more experienced members. The third track included a mix of popular topics that featured engagement at each level – with fellow board members, students, staff and the community. The day wrapped up with an update on the state budget.
